SLO Farmers Market

Why visit:

Each city in SLO County has their own Farmers Market. The one to go to is the Thursday night Farmers Market in downtown SLO. They close off five blocks on Higuera Street. Produce vendors from the Central Coast to inland Central California come to sell fruits, vegetables, and flowers. There is also live music and booths that sell merchandise. On Garden Street, you can hear live music, and there local restaurants set up booths in which people can purchase tasty food as they stroll along Higuera.
